Bronislav Bernatsky, Bishop of the RCC in Ukraine, passed away

Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Odesa and Simferopol of the RCC in Ukraine, Bronislav Bernatsky, has reposed in the Lord.

This was reported by CREDO.

Prior to this, it was reported that the bishop was in serious condition. While being in intensive care, he received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

The funeral solemnities will take place this Saturday in Odesa, the city where Bishop Bronislav Bernatsky lived and served as an ordinary of the Odesa-Simferopol Diocese.

The funeral liturgy will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral. Afterwards, his body will be transported to the city of Bar in the Vinnytsia region, where Bronislav Bernatsky served as a priest. The bishop will be buried in Murafa, his native village, where he also lived the last years of his life.
