Borodyansky and MP Tkachenko paid a visit to Patriarch Bartholomew
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Volodymyr Borodyansky, and the MP of the Servant of People Party Oleksandr Tkachenko visited Patriarch Bartholomew on the day of his 80th birthday. The MP wrote about it on his Facebook page.
“Today is the 80th anniversary of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who marks his birthday once in 4 years - on February 29. As the Patriarch jokes - "I'm 20 years old today."
Together with Volodymyr Borodyansky, they conveyed congratulations from Volodymyr Zelensky and Dmytro Razumkov to His Holiness, wished good health and courage on the way to unity of the Orthodox in Ukraine and the world,” he said.
The Ecumenical Patriarch said that the OCU would be soon recognized by other Churches.
“The patriarch is in good humor and will be glad to visit Kyiv at the first opportunity. He says that the Orthodox Church should expecte recognition by other Orthodox Churches soon. Moscow will be the last, according to him).
