Court to Consider Police Reports Regarding Pickets in Dnipropetrovsk

On July 24, 2010, a special unit of police detained nine members of the Dnipropetrovsk regional organization "Svoboda" who attempted to conduct a picket along the route of Patriarch Kirill.
On July 24, 2010, a special unit of police detained nine members of the Dnipropetrovsk regional organization Svoboda who attempted to conduct a picket along the route of Patriarch Kirill.
The same happened to the local organization of the Ukrainian People's Party who attempted to organize a picket at the airport. They spent part of the day in the police department drawing up a report.
The police let go the detained activists of Svoboda. According to the police, they drew a police report for violation of rules of organizing mass actions. "The picketers will be fined," reports Radio Svoboda.
On July 26 the court is to consider the reports.
