The main building of Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich hosted the grand opening of the exhibition “Why Are You Still Alive?”, dedicated to the Holodomor famine of 1932–1933 in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Consulate General in Munich (Germany) on Facebook.

The opening ceremony was attended by Yuriy Nikitiuk, the Consul General of Ukraine in Munich, and Rafał Wolski, the Consul General of the Republic of Poland.

A key highlight of the event was an online question-and-answer session featuring Volodymyr Tylishchak, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance.

The exhibition is situated in the dean's office corridor (Dekanatsgang) on the first floor of the main university building at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1, 80539 Munich. It is open to visitors daily, with the following hours: weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
