The head of the Roman Catholics of Ukraine, Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, participated in the last general audience of Pope Benedict XVI.

RCC.jpgThe head of the Roman Catholics of Ukraine, Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, participated in the last general audience of Pope Benedict XVI, which took place on February 27. After that he had an opportunity to talk to the pope in person.

The archbishop shared his impressions of the meeting with Radio Vatican, reported СREDO.

“I am very happy that I had a chance to participate in the general audience with Pope Benedict XVI. After the audience, I had a personal meeting with him in the Clementine Hall and I thanked him on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine for all the care and good received by our Church in Ukraine from him,” said the archbishop.

The hierarch noted that the pope was very joyful during the meeting and thankful for the prayers.
