In the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, the Russians damaged the cultural layer in the estate of the Tauric Chersonese Museum and Reserve.

This was reported by the Telegram channel Crimean Wind, according to Ukrinform.

"Unknown individuals have dug a trench in Sevastopol, damaging the cultural layer at estate No. 318 of the Tauric Chersonese site. This trench, which measures nearly 150 meters in length, has unearthed antique ceramics and compromised masonry.

Chora represents an agricultural region of Tauric Chersonese, located in what is now Sevastopol. This area contains the ruins of 250 ancient estates scattered throughout the Heracleian Peninsula.

The Tauric Chersonese Museum and Reserve is recognized as a monument of world significance and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site."
