Interfaith prayer for peace held simultaniously in Kyiv and Gniezno

During the prayer event, Maronite Bishop Mounir Khairallah from Lebanon spoke about the foundations of a just peace from God.

Bishop Vitaliy Kryvytskyi of the Roman Catholic Church read an appeal from the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations to the Polish clergy. Following this, religious leaders from Ukraine and Poland, along with laypeople, offered prayers and made appeals for an end to the war and for the establishment of a just and lasting peace for Ukraine and other countries in conflict. At the conclusion of the prayer service, everyone recited the Lord's Prayer together.
The Ukrainian participants in the Polish-Ukrainian prayer event "Prayer for Peace" included: Bishop Vitaliy Kryvytskyi of Kyiv-Zhytomyr of the Roman Catholic Church; Metropolitan Yevstratiy (Zoria) of Bila Tserkva of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine; Bishop Markos Oganesyan, head of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church; Mitred Protopriest Oleksa Petriv of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church; Pastor Volodymyr Kondor, Executive Secretary of the All-Ukrainian Union of Churches of Evangelical Christian Baptists; Pastor Ihor Shemigon of the German Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ukraine; and Ayder Rustemov, the Supreme Mufti of Crimea.

On June 27, 2025, a delegation from the UCCRO took part in the first Polish-Ukrainian prayer breakfast in Warsaw.
