Kyiv Cave Monastery Passed to State Ownership

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine transferred the whole property complex of the National Kyiv Cave Historic and Cultural Reserve to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The Decision (#1897) was passed by the cabinet at the session of September 29.

"To accept the proposal of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Kyiv City Council on the transfer of the entire property complex of the National Kyiv Cave Historic and Cultural Reserve and the building of the Cathedral of Assumption, located on the territory of the reserve, to state ownership and to the jurisdiction of the mentioned ministry," reads the resolution.
