The second day of the Book Fair in Lviv includes many events in the fields of religious history, philosophy and popular reading.

The second day of the Book Fair in Lviv includes many events in the fields of religious history, philosophy and popular reading.

11:00 — Presentation of Yurii Doroshenko’s book “Without a Dogma” at the stand of Yaroslaviv Val Publishers.

12:30 — Press conference in the Lviv City Hall with the participation of the famous author of Christian essays, Bruno Ferrero. At 19:00, he will meet with readers in the Church of the Holy Eucharist (1 Museum Street).

13:00 – Lecture of Archbishop Ihor Isichenko of Kharkiv and Poltava of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Ph.D. “Sacral space of the “Garden of Godly Songs” of Hryhorii Skovaroda” in the Museum of History of Religion. The event is held to mark the 290th anniversary of birth of the famous Ukrainian philosopher.

15:00 - our RISU correspondent and author in Ternopil Obast, Volodymyr Moroz, will present his new book “Castles and Fortresses of Ternopil Oblast” in the Lviv Regional Library for Children and Youth  (1 Vynnychenka Street). The book will be interesting for religious tourists.

16:00 - Presentation “Return of Names: Inokentii Gizel, Ukrainian Philosopher and Theologian of the 17th Century.”

17:00 - autograph session of Vice-Rector of Ostrih Academy, author of historic works, Petro Kraliuk.
