"We, Christians, remember this fateful event for every person, celebrating with great joy the Nativity of Christ. We rejoice and admire God's love and kindness for us, as we contemplate the Newborn Child, His Mother Mary, and his earthly Guardian, Saint Joseph. We rejoice as shepherds who saw angelic choirs glorifying God's greatness and declaring peace and God's blessing to people of goodwill.

May he give us the true faith, strong hope, and boundless love, so that we can recognize and fulfill his holy and infallible will.
