Members of Dognalsect ask DPR leaders for a land plot for church construction
Dognalgroup members asked the leaders of the terrorist Donetsk People’s Republic to provide a land plot for construction of a church in Donetsk.
It was reported by coordinator of “Informational resistance”group MP DmitroTymchuk on his Facebook page, according to Zaxid.net.
The DPR chieftains are consideringthe appeal by representatives of the so-called Ukrainian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church on the allocation of a land plot in the city of Donetsk for the construction of the temple (in the neighborhood of Artema Street)," Tymchuk says.
“Information Resistance”coordinator also reiterated that the criminal proceedings were initiated against the sect leaders.
On June 22, 2015 the leaders of the unregistered Ukrainian Orthodox Greek-Catholic Church, better known as the Dognal sect, were detained during searches in Bryukhovychi in Lviv and after the official investigation expelled from Ukraine for anti-Ukrainian activities.
The Dognal group members repeatedly demanded to give them St Peter and Paul Church in Lviv, opposed Ukraine's accession to the EU, tried to legally ban the UGCC and called Putin to send troops to Ukraine. Group members were repeatedly accused of indoctrinating people, destroying families and other illegal actions.
However, despite these facts, for many years the law enforcement officers have not taken interest in the organization’s activities.
