Mercenaries of so-called Donetsk People’s Republic seize Protestant church in Donetsk
The terrorists of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic on August 13 at 10 p.m. captured a church of the Ukrainian Christian Evangelical Church, a senior bishop of the Church Leonid Padun informed via Facebook.
"I ask for your prayer of support due to the fact that at 10 p.m., DNR representatives took our church building. Despite the fact that the city has a lot of empty buildings, they decided to seize the house of God, which is never empty and which always holds services and provides assistance to people in need," he wrote.
"There are no words to express the pain and sorrow! For over twenty years we have invested our hearts, our finances into building the church and now we have been prevented from gathering for prayer and from worshiping God. With pain in my heart I tell you that this Sunday for the first time the doors of our church will be closed," said a senior bishop
