On 21 May, Metropolitan Volodymyr of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate nominated the Superior of the Banchenskyi men’s Monastery in Chernivtsi Region, Archimandrite Lonhyn (Zhar) Bishop of Bancheny.
On 21 May, Metropolitan Volodymyr of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate nominated the Superior of the Banchenskyi men’s Monastery in Chernivtsi Region, Archimandrite Lonhyn (Zhar) Bishop of Bancheny, Vicar of Chernivtsi Eparchy in accordance with a decision of that Church’s Synod of 8 May.
