On November 11, 2025, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine welcomed Luboš Veselý, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine, along with Monika Tošnerová, the Third Secretary of the Embassy, at his residence.

This was reported by the press service of the OCU.

During the meeting, the Primate of the autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church shared details about his recent visit to Prague. He had the opportunity to meet with the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

He expressed his gratitude for the support that the Czech Republic is providing to Ukraine during these challenging times of war. The discussions covered various topics, including international relations, assistance for Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic, the religious situation in Ukraine, and the significance of faith in times of conflict.

Particular emphasis was placed on the issue of Russian aggression in all its forms — military, informational, and spiritual. Metropolitan Epifaniy emphasized the need for all democratic countries to unite in order to overcome the Russian aggressor and achieve a just peace.
