Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew emphasized in an interview with Vatican Media that “as Christians, we need to make our voices heard, united” to “demonstrate our firm commitment to justice, because without justice, there is no peace.”
When asked how Christians can contribute to a culture of brotherhood and peace, the Ecumenical Patriarch noted that, unfortunately, there are many wars in the world. He stated that Christians must unite their voices, as the Latin and Orthodox Patriarchs of Jerusalem have recently done. He also emphasised, “We also possess an invincible weapon: prayer. And we must never forget that.”
