At the conclusion of the general audience on November 5, Pope Leo XIV urged the 40,000 pilgrims gathered in St. Peter's Square to pray for all those suffering due to wars. He particularly highlighted the tragic situation in Myanmar, where a civil war, humanitarian crisis, and violations of human rights persist.

This was reported by Vatican News.

“I invite you to join me in praying for all those who are suffering from armed conflicts in various parts of the world,” said the Pope. “With particular attention to Myanmar, I urge the international community not to forget the people of that country and to provide them with the necessary humanitarian aid.”

The Bishop of Rome also reflected on the Solemnity of All Saints, which the Church celebrated on November 1. He stated, “The recent feast of the saints prompts us to reflect on our common call to holiness. We are all called to be saints. Therefore, I encourage you to draw ever closer to Christ, following the example of authenticity demonstrated by the saints.”
