Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman revealed how he advocated for the allocation of F-16 fighters to Ukraine in the US
As he explained in an interview with "Telegraf," he had to communicate with representatives of various communities, governments, parliaments, and foreign media outlets.
According to the rabbi, he even visited the Capitol and the US Congress, where he met with American parliamentarians.
"I met not only with prominent figures but also with the assistants of these individuals. And I see that sometimes it is even more important to communicate with the assistants or employees of institutions that shape the strategy regarding Ukraine. Those who provide senators with information about the war in Ukraine," said Moshe Reuven Azman.
According to him, Western audiences listen to Ukrainians and representatives of Ukrainian media or politicians, but when a representative of the Jewish people talks to them, it becomes a different conversation.
"For them, it's like a voice from the side, a different perspective on the situation, and it breaks the propaganda," he added.
In particular, the spiritual leader of the Jewish community in Ukraine mentioned a conversation he had with a well-known American on the "Ukrainian issue."
"He asked a personal question that concerned him. I honestly answered. His next words were, 'So, Ukraine should indeed be given F-16s,'" he noted.
