RISU reports to have purchased night vision goggles for artillery
Thanks to the goodwill of people, in particular, our readers, we have succeeded to collect money to buy night vision goggles as an alternative to a more expensive thermal imager. We continue to help our soldiers in cooperation with the Social Ministry Department of the UOC - Kyiv Patriarchate.
The fighters of a mortar battery of Special Mechanized Brigade 30 from Novohrad-Volynsk have chosen the specific model of glasses. Yesterday, on December 10, the glasses were sent to the nearest village to their positions.
Generally, Yukon Tracker 1 × 24 Goggles cost 7284 UAH. Additionally, the company paid 47 UAH for the delivery via Nova Poshta, as otherwise we would have to wait for a long time for the next chaplains’ departure.
It is due to these people that the soldiers will be able see in the dark and in fog. This also ensures protection against surprise attack or sabotage by terrorists.
We continue collecting donations. The next item they are asking for is a telescope as an alternative to a long-range surveillance scope. The men need the Bresser Pirsch 20-60 × 80WP model, which costs 2556 UAH. Today they are lacking only 903 UAH to buy it. Details here.
We also continue to collect warm clothing for the soldiers of Artillery Brigade 26, who are in a combat zone now. They need sweaters, jackets, hats, underwear, socks and more. Click here to read about things needed.
We collect the funds at our journalist Tetiana Kalenychenko-Muhomorova’s credit card account 5211 5374 4567 4166 in Privatbank.
