The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) arrested an agent who was leaking information to Russians about the Armed Forces of Ukraine through a connection with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).
Tetiana Oleksyk was an assistant to the "agent in cassock" from Donetsk, and after his escape to Russia, she continued to maintain contact with him.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Operativny ZSU."
She leaked the geolocations of Ukrainian military units in the Kramatorsk area to him, correcting the Russian Federation's strikes against the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Donetsk. And the cleric passed the information to the FSB.
The Security Service detained the traitor in her own home in the town of Krasnotorka. She faces up to 8 years in prison.
To establish intelligence and subversive activities, the enemy informant traveled to Russia through European Union countries earlier this year.
There, she met with her "curator" from the FSB - a former head of artillery reconnaissance of the 100th separate motorized rifle brigade of the aggressors.
During the meeting, he briefed the suspect and defined her main tasks and communication channels through the UOC-MP cleric.
After that, the criminal returned to Ukraine and began collecting intelligence information for the aggressor country.
She transmitted the obtained information to Russia through a prearranged anonymous chat in a popular messenger.
