During the 20th Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast in Washington, Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, addressed Russia's ongoing war crimes.

Stefanchuk reported this on Facebook.

"Cold, darkness, and silence are the weapons that Russia is using today. At the 20th Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast in Washington, I emphasized that the destruction of energy infrastructure during extreme cold spells is a deliberate act of terror against civilians, not military tactics," Stefanchuk stated.

He addressed Russia's systematic war crimes, including attacks on peaceful cities, the killing of children, the execution of prisoners of war, the abduction of Ukrainian children, and attempts to instill fear and create hardship through deprivation of basic necessities.

"We see a direct historical parallel with the Holodomor: both then and now, the method is the same — destruction through deprivation of fundamental necessities," he emphasized.

Stefanchuk expressed gratitude for the bipartisan support for Ukraine, including assistance, weapons, and prayers.

"Solidarity and shared values remain the answer to evil, which does not change," he concluded.
