Sybiha thanks Pope for his call to help Ukraine
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha expressed his gratitude to Pope Leo XIV for his call to the world to support the Ukrainian people who are suffering from Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. Sybiha published his note of thanks on the platform X on February 4.
The minister emphasized the significance of the Pope's appeal for international solidarity and noted that collective efforts will help overcome the challenges posed by "Russian winter terror."
“His Holiness paid special attention to the Ukrainian people suffering in extreme colds from brutal Russian strikes against heating, power, and water. We value the Pontiff’s call for worldwide solidarity with Ukraine. Together, we shall overcome Russian winter terror,” Sybiha wrote.
