The head of the UGCC met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland
According to the UGCC Department for Information, the attendees of the meeting discussed key issues of Polish-Ukrainian relations, in particular at the interstate level. Special attention was paid to the role of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in said relations. In particular, the figure of Pope John Paul II was mentioned as the initiator of Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation, which the Church continues to support.
Vasyl Bodnar expressed his gratitude to all the clergy of the UGCC for supporting Ukrainian refugees in Poland. According to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, despite the short duration of his mission, he had already visited most of the UGCC communities throughout Poland, which demonstrates the closeness of diplomats to Ukrainian citizens in this country.

The attendees also recalled the recent visit to Poland of the Minister of National Unity of Ukraine, Oleksandr Chernyshov, who met with the UGCC clergy in Warsaw and expressed gratitude for their service to Ukrainians.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of the UGCC gifted the Ambassador with the UGCC Catechism “Christ Is Our Pascha” in Polish, which was presented on March 24 in Warsaw.
