Mr. Kuleba praised the Church for the social service, support and protection of the rights of our migrant workers, who found themselves in special circumstances in the context of the coronavirus crisis. The Minister also thanked the Church for being a refuge and support for our faithful today, in which they can find comfort, protection and help.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on steps for future collaboration in different countries. "This is necessary so that our people can feel protected by their state and supported by their Church, and also so that together we can tell the truth about Ukraine and the war in Ukraine and about the circumstances in which we live today," said the Primate of the UGCC.

Also, His Beatitude Sviatoslav informed Dmytro Kuleba about the Appeal of the Catholic Bishops of Ukraine to the Ukrainian authorities and all people of good will regarding surrogate motherhood.
