Traditional Easter hayivkas in Kyiv

On Sunday, April 24, on the feast of Christ’s Resurrection, at the Square of Sophia, traditional Christian hayivkas will be held (beginning at 4 p.m.).

On Sunday, April 24, on the feast of Christ’s Resurrection, at the Square of Sophia, traditional Christian hayivkas will be held (beginning at 4 p.m.).  The ethnic festival “Hayivkas on Sophia Square” is organized by the Kyivan Archeparchy of the UGCC in cooperation with various cultural centers of the city of Kyiv.

The event will be attended by pupils of Sunday schools of the Greek Catholic parishes of Kyiv, young people and everyone who wishes to glorify the Resurrected Christ with singing and dancing.
