UGCC representatives attend annual DFMC 2025 conference in the U.S.
This was reported by the UGCC Department for Information.
This year, the event gathered over 300 participants, including financial directors of dioceses and leaders from various church organizations across America. Ukraine was represented by delegates from the Patriarchal Curia of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), as well as representatives from the Lviv Archdiocese, the Buchach Diocese, the Sambir-Drohobych Diocese, and the Exarchate of Odessa.
Over several days, conference participants addressed contemporary challenges in managing church resources, including issues of financial transparency, the development of organizational and parish communities, and new approaches to supporting ministry. Throughout the forum, numerous practical case studies and successful solutions from dioceses in the United States were presented.
“This experience provided a unique opportunity for us to exchange knowledge, establish partnerships, and explore new ideas for ministry and the development of the Church in Ukraine,” said Fr. Lubomyr Yavorsky.
