Ukraine legalizes renewal of marriage vows
This is reported by "Ukrayinska Pravda".
Ministry of Justice of Ukraine allows all married couples to hold repetitive anniversary wedding ceremonies accompanied by Mendelssohn's Waltz, with guests and champagne in all Civil Registration Offices.
The renewal of marriage vows is also practiced in churches.
According to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, one can order the service not only for the anniversary and regardless of how many years the couple has been married – 1 year, 18 or 50 years.
The service can be ordered by both married couples and their relatives or friends. During the ceremony, married couples are even presented with a marriage certificate. However, it will indicate "reissued".
"Having lived amicably and happily with your chosen one for 25, and maybe even 50 years, you will have the opportunity to repeat the rite and remind yourself of the happiest day of your life.
You will be able to say "yes" to your significant other again and feel those unforgettable emotions.
One can celebrate the anniversary of marriage by ordering a repetitive marriage ceremony in any Vital Records Office of the country," said Iryna Dubikovskaya, Head of the State Civil Registration Department of the State Registration and Notary Department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
