A Ukrainian citizen has been among the innocent victims in recent Jerusalem attacks.
The relevant statement was made by the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel on Facebook.
“The Embassy of Ukraine in Israel is deeply concerned and shocked by the horrific attacks in Jerusalem. Terror and violence against civilians, including children, are unacceptable. With sorrow we inform, that a Ukrainian citizen was among the innocent victims. Our deep condolences to the families of the deceased and we pray for the full recovery of the wounded,” the report states.
In the evening of January 27, 2023, at least seven people were killed and three more injured in a deadly shooting at a synagogue in East Jerusalem. In the morning of January 28, 2023, two men were injured in a new shooting attack near the Old City of Jerusalem.
