Ukrainian Protestant Churches begin a year of Prayer for Victory and Peace

YEAR-LONG FOCUS ON FASTING AND PRAYER:
PRAYER OF HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE
- Thanking the Lord for His grace upon Ukraine
- Repentance for the sins of our nation (uncleanness, corruption, pride, division, etc.)
- Seeking and thirsting for God in the hearts of Ukrainians
- Repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and turning to God for everyone residing in Ukraine
- Radical transformation of hearts and behavior of Ukrainians in the image and likeness of God
- Awakening. Pouring out of the Holy Spirit on every person (Joel 3)
- Destruction of strongholds of evil and demonic influence on people’s souls in Ukraine (2 Cor. 10:3-5, Eph. 6:11, 12)
PRAYER FOR VICTORY AND PEACE
- Foiling the plans of the evil one regarding Ukraine. Weakening and defeat of the Russian army
- Preserving the lives and health of Ukrainian military and civilians
- Complete victory for Ukraine and the return of all occupied lands
- God’s protection, strength, courage, and fortitude for Ukraine’s defenders
- Wisdom and ingenuity for commanders at all levels of command in the Ukrainian Defense Forces
- Healing of souls and bodies of wounded servicemen
- Comfort and provision for the families of the deceased
- Release of Ukrainian captives from Russian captivity
- Return of Ukrainian children from Russia
- Provision of necessary armament for the Ukrainian army
- Unification of the entire civilized world for the sake of joint victory over the Kremlin aggressor
PRAYER FOR THE RESTORATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY
- Thanking the Lord for independence and freedom for preaching the Gospel in Ukraine
- Restoration of destroyed infrastructure
- Economic growth, business development, and prosperity of Ukraine
- Election of a righteous President and members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine according to the will of the Heavenly Father
- Reform in every sphere of the state and society (administration, economy, education, culture, security structures, medicine, media, etc.)
- Fear of God, blessings, and wisdom from the Lord for every leader and manager in the state
- Holding Prayer Breakfasts and studying God’s Word in all branches of central and regional government in the country
- Preservation of families and increase in the birth rate among Ukrainians
- Return of Ukrainian refugees to a safe Ukraine
- God’s protection from the legalization of various perversions in Ukrainian legislation
PRAYER FOR CHRIST’S CHURCH
- Unity of the Body of Christ - the Church around God’s calling in Ukraine (John 17:21, 23)
- Effective chaplaincy in Ukraine’s military and state structures
- Raising workers for the harvest, missionaries for every settlement, and every sphere of society in Ukraine (Matt. 9:37, 38)
- Vision of Ukraine’s present through God’s eyes
- Identification and lifting up in Christ’s Church in Ukraine of genuine contemporary reformers for changing the country
- Systematic and effective service of the Church in every sphere of society
- Reforming methods of service to reach the unsaved
- Quantitative and qualitative growth of local churches in Ukraine.
