Ukrainians Consider Church Most Honest Institution

The international NGO Transparency International has published an annual report "Global Corruption Barometer 2010.” According to this document, the degree of corruption in Ukraine is one of the highest in the world.

These reports reflect not the real acts of corruption, but the thoughts of Ukrainians. “This time 91.5 thousand people from 86 countries were polled," said the Ukranian deputy Gennady Moskal. "However, figures show the trends.  Ukrainians consider their media (indicator of corruption at world average level) and the church (one of the lowest in the world) more or less honest," reports Religion in Ukraine with reference to Weekly.ua.
