UOC-MP established two new monasteries in Kharkiv and Transcarpathia

On April 10, during the Holy Synod of the UOC-MP held in Kyiv, two new monasteries were established in Kharkiv and Transcarpathia.
According to the Information Department of the UOC-MP, "In response to reports from diocesan bishops, the Holy Synod established a men's monastery dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God 'Quick to Hearken' in the village of Babai in the Kharkiv Diocese. The Synod also approved the abbot of this monastery and opened the Holy Trinity women's monastery in the village of Bukivtsovo in the Mukachevo Diocese."
Furthermore, the participants of the UOC-MP Synod also confirmed the abbot of the Holy Mykolayivsky men's monastery in Shargorod and the head of the men's monastery dedicated to the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord in the Valley of the Crosses.
