Zelensky’s team responded to Pope's statement on Russia

Podolyak stated this in an interview with the Italian newspaper "Corriere della Sera," as reported by pravdatutnews.com.

"Francis encourages Putin's ideology of hatred towards humanity and his inclination towards genocide. We have to ask, what is the Catholic Church, what is Christianity," Podolyak noted. "It seems that the Pope has once again become a tool of Russian propaganda. By relying on the triad of Peter-Catherine-Stalin, the Russian army comes to kill Ukrainians. The Pope elevates them, and Putin uses them to destroy our identity."

According to Podolyak, if one assesses the recent statements of the Pope of Rome impartially, it becomes evident that they unequivocally promote aggressive imperialism and applaud the bloody concept of the "Russian World."
