The third month of the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation has begun. In parallel with the conduct of active military operations, information operations of the aggressor continue in order to sow panic among the public, as well as to undermine the morale of the servicemen of the armed forces of Ukraine. I ask you to be careful and responsible in spreading false information that may undermine confidence in the leadership of the state and the armed forces of Ukraine among our faithful.

This is stated in the address of the Archbishop of Lviv of the Roman Catholic Church, Metropolitan Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, dated May 11.

"May our common fervent prayer for an early end to the war and the establishment of peace, the moral support of our defenders on the front line and their families, our all possible assistance in finding and implementing ways to solve existing problems, including in the material and technical support of the armed forces of Ukraine, as well as concern for the conscientious distribution and transfer of humanitarian aid to those who really need it, be our important contribution to victory.

May the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in whose intercession we place our hope, inspire and help us in this!" calls Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki.
