Greek Catholics announced a fundraiser to purchase drinking water for residents of the Kherson region

This was reported by the Information Department of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC).

Within one night, they managed to raise funds for a whole truckload of 16,000 bottles of water, which will be delivered to the residents of the Kherson region through the efforts of youth apostolate workers and priests serving in the area.

"We encourage everyone to take action and continue active fundraising! It is important for us to be together now, to see and feel the needs of people who have lost everything. They need our help, our active love. We must help them today because tomorrow they may not be here!" emphasized the co-initiator of the project, Deputy Chairman of the UGCC Youth Commission, Father Roman Demush.

It is known that recently the UGCC Youth Commission has revived the environmental project "Spozhyty," which includes not only educational initiatives but also concrete practical steps towards environmental preservation.
