KIIS: 80% of respondents support the law banning the activities of religious organizations associated with Russia

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), Espreso reports.

According to the data, 80% of Ukrainians support the adoption of the law banning the Russian Orthodox Church. At the same time, 16% of Ukrainians do not support it, while 4% have not decided on their opinion.

It is noted that in all regions, the vast majority of Ukrainians support the adopted law - from 71% in the east to 83% in the west.

In addition, the majority of Ukrainians - 61% - support the idea that there should be only one Orthodox Church in Ukraine. This idea is not supported by 16%, and 20% are indifferent to this issue.
