Metropolitan Onufriy appoints an interim administrator of the UOC-MP Diocese of Luhansk

By decree of the Primate of the UOC, the temporary management of the diocese is entrusted to Metropolitan Panteleimon (Povoroznyuk).
In connection with the death of Metropolitan Mytrofan of Luhansk and Alchevsk, Metropolitan Onufriy appointed a temporary administrator of the Diocese of Luhansk. This is reported by Orthodox Life.
"The temporary administration of the Diocese of Luhansk is entrusted with Metropolitan Panteleimon of Rovenky and Sverdlovsk," the report says.
On June 20, Metropolitan Panteleimon performed the funeral service for the newly deceased bishop.
Metropolitan Mytrofan (Yurchuk) passed away to the Lord on June 18, 2021, at the age of 59 as a result of a heart attack.
