In the village of Andriivka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region, Russian troops destroyed a local architectural monument - a wooden church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. One of the features of the church was the ceramic terracotta tiles made at the famous Dziewulski & Lange factory in Sloviansk.

This was reported on February 19 on the website of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), according to Suspilne.

“In February 2025, the church was destroyed by Russian shelling. The first mention of the church in the settlement of Andriivka dates back to 1793. The first church was consecrated in 1795, and in 1886 it was replaced by a new building with a bell tower. The church gradually developed,” the RMA said.
