The Russian regime is evil that calls for waging jihad against it, - Imam of the Islamic Cultural Center of Dnipro - фото 1
Vitalii Overko, Imam of the Islamic Cultural Center of Dnipro, believes that "the Russian regime is an essential evil for Muslims, and it is necessary to wage jihad against it."

This was reported by Gorsovet.

He published a post on his Facebook page, commenting on Kamil Samigullin's (Russian Muslim religious leader, mufti, head of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan - ed.) visits to Russian soldiers on the front line.

Imam Vitalii Overko believes that "such people can no longer be considered spiritual authorities for Muslims."

"The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The most favorite jihad for Allah is the word of truth spoken to an unjust ruler" (Ahmad, al-Tabarani).

What can be said about a person who played along with the oppressors of Muslims and non-Muslims and joined a military unit involved in the war of aggression in Ukraine? From the point of view of Islam, those who die during a robbery are robbers, and Allah has promised them to be in the fire of hell. They are not to be prayed for in Janaza prayers. It is useless, for the wrath of Allah is on these people," believes Vitalii Overko.

The imam of the Islamic Cultural Center is convinced that Muslims should wage jihad against the Russian regime.

"Are there those who have taken this path? There is no doubt about it. These are the fighters of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Ichkeria, fighting together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the godless regime of Russia. These are the newly oppressed Crimean Tatars who decided to defend their faith and freedom both in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in the volunteer battalion named after Noman Çelebicihan. These are volunteers from the occupied peoples of the Volga region and the Caucasus, soldiers from Syria and Libya who are fighting against Russian-backed forces. These are also Russian Muslims who were expelled for their faith and its embodiment in the establishment of justice, and now are actively involved in the preparation of the deconstruction of Russia," he wrote.

"Muslims of Russia! Do not be like Kamil Samigullin or Ramzan Kadyrov. Be like Said Buryatsky or Khamzat Gelayev, like the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions were. Remember that you are not going to liberate the Muslims of another country. You are extending the power of the enemies of Islam to other countries and peoples," Imam Vitalii Overko urged.

Earlier in his interviews, comparing Islam in Ukraine and Russia, the imam said that "Islam in Russia is "FSBized". The Russian authorities oppress Muslims, putting them in a strict framework. In Ukraine, the situation is the opposite: Ukrainians are respectful towards representatives of other religions."
