Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, Archbishop Metropolitan of Lviv of the Roman Catholic Church, Chairman of the Conference of the Roman Catholic Bishops of Ukraine and the Commission of the Doctrine of Faith on the 41st day of the war, appealed to the faithful and all people of good will to continue praying for our Armed Forces, for the victims of the war and for all those who accelerate the victory over the enemy by their service.

"We are experiencing 41 days of the war. Yesterday, the whole world was horrified to see what was happening in Bucha. And I call on everyone to pray for those who gave their lives, for all those who suffered, for peace, for the motherland. I think that God will give us the long-awaited peace, and the sacrifice will not be in vain.

We pray for all those who are now at the frontline, those who help people survive this difficult time, all the volunteers, for all the doctors and priests who serve the military and civilians with courage.

Let us pray for our enemies that God will change their hearts so that they can distinguish between good and evil. Let us pray that the mother of God of Fatima will ask her son for mercy and long-awaited peace for us," he urged.

According to the official website of the RCC, the metropolitan not only calls for prayer and humanitarian initiatives but also personally opened his home for internally displaced persons.
