Today, February 25, on the second day of the war against the Russian occupiers, the Head of the UGCC blessed our army and the people of Ukraine from Golden-Domed Kyiv for a worthy rebuff to the enemy. "We pray for Ukraine and for peace in Ukraine," said Patriarch Sviatoslav.

He called on Ukrainians to further self-organization because today, the fate of Ukraine depends on us.

The head of the UGCC stressed that today Ukraine is not only in the hands of the military but depends on everyone!

"At this moment, when we survived the first day of the war, we are praying for Ukraine. We pray for peace in Ukraine. We pray and bless the defenders of our Motherland. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those self-organizing and supporting our Ukrainian state today and the efforts of all those defending our freedom and independence."

His Beatitude Sviatoslav says that our hope is in God, and the destiny of Ukraine is in our ability to organize ourselves.

"In this tragic time, all our hope is in God. At this tragic time, the fate of Ukraine depends on our ability to self-organize and act responsibly and take responsibility for the future of our state. "

The UGCC constantly prays for Ukraine and asks for God's protection and support for the Ukrainian people.

"I have just spoken with our bishops in Kharkiv, Odessa, Zaporizhia, with our clergy and monks from this burning east of Ukraine, and we convey to you all good news, congratulations and prayers. May God bless Ukraine. May God bless the Ukrainian army.

May the Lord God bless the families of our servicemen. May God bless the Ukrainian authorities. May the Lord God bless all those who are in solidarity with Ukraine in different parts of Ukraine and the world today. "

"The world is with Ukraine, and Ukraine is with God. And together, we will survive," the Head of the UGCC emphasized.
