Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church discusses the step-by-step implementation of the Pastoral Plan 2030
This was reported by the UGCC Information Department.
Thirteen representatives from archdioceses and exarchates in Ukraine, along with heads and employees of the Patriarchal Curia, have convened to continue working on three themes in the context of the war in Ukraine:
1. Proximity to the poor, marginalized, refugees, and those affected by the war.
2. Healing wounds.
3. The Christian family.
The focus isn't solely on practical decisions and new programs but also on dialogue and communication among all structures of the Church. The Pastoral Council aims to ensure that the positive initiatives launched at the patriarchal level can reach every parish and touch the hearts of every faithful member of the UGCC, wherever the Church exists worldwide. This connection is impossible without healthy communication.
The General Assembly serves as an annual meeting with delegated representatives from all archdioceses and exarchates, considering the challenges posed by the war. Such meetings will also take place in a regional format in several countries worldwide, including Poland, Brazil, and the United States, due to the ongoing conflict.
