Ukrainian women released from captivity make pilgrimage to Medjugorje
According to Ukrinform, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported this on Facebook.
The trip was organised with the assistance of the Coordination Centre, the "Chalice of Mercy" and "For Human Dignity" charitable foundations.
The Ukrainian pilgrims visited the site of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Medjugorje. They also took part in worship services and joint prayers for peace in Ukraine.
"Numerous pilgrims from other countries, having learned about Ukrainian women soldiers and war veterans staying in Medjugorje, came to the Ukrainian delegation to express their gratitude and join in the prayers for peace and the return of all Ukrainian prisoners from Russian captivity," the Coordination Centre said.
