Cabinet of Ministers Approves Form of Biometric Passports

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved unified forms of documents confirming Ukrainian citizenship or special status of a person.

This is stipulated by the Government’s Resolution 185 “Certain questions of observance of the law of Ukraine “On Unified State Demographic Register and documents identifying the person or their special status.”

The Cabinet of Ministers also decreed that the documents issued before coming into effect of this resolution are valid for the term for which they were issued, UNIAN-Religion reported.
