The Council of Churches and Religious Organizations of the Donetsk region has issued a statement to the law enforcement officers and government bodies in which it demands they stop the manifestations of “mad xenophobia and outright anti-Semitism by the separatist forces of the so-called People's Republic of Donetsk.”

For its part, the Council of Churches and Religious Organizations in the Donetsk region will continuously monitor the situation in the field of human rights and freedoms in the region, will inform the relevant authorities and human rights organizations at all levels, including international ones, of any violations, and will also resort to other legal action to ensure order in the Donetsk region,” say representatives from the Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.
