Eastern European School of Media Management to Open at Ukrainian Catholic University
LVIV – The Foundation Press Center for Central-Eastern Europe (Warsaw) and the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) announced they are now accepting applications for the six-month module program "Eastern European School of Media Management." The program of lectures and workshops will be conducted from May to November 2010 by distinguished Ukrainian and Polish journalists, editors, managers of mass media, (particularly, co-founders and co-owners of the largest Polish mass media, an editorial concern Agora, radio network RMF-FM, TV-channel TVN, and others.)
The program invites senior students and working journalists who would like to learn the basics of functioning and management of mass media. Editors of the Ukrainian mass media holding managerial positions will also be invited to take part in the workshops.
The program is being implemented as part of the project to establish an eastern-European school of journalism of the Ukrainian Catholic University and will be based at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.
The organizers will cover the costs of the training, lodging, and meals of the participants.
Applications accompanied by a letter of motivation and CV (of any form) can be sent to by the end of April.
