Ukrainian Baptists partner with American prosthetics organization for military personnel
This was reported by the press service of the AUUCECB.
Last week, the Brotherhood's chairman, Valeriy Antonyuk, chaplaincy service leader Vasyl Povorozniuk, and pastor-chaplain Anatoliy Kushnirchuk met with the founder of the organization, Yuriy Aroshidze at a prosthetic clinic in Kyiv.
They agreed on bilateral cooperation: prosthetics for Ukrainian military personnel, as well as children who have lost limbs due to combat actions.
It is noted that the leadership, doctors, and team of ProtezFoundation adhere to Christian values. Ukrainian Baptist churches in the United States are donors to the organization.
According to pastor-chaplain Anatoliy Kushnirchuk, prosthetics are a significant, expensive, and painstaking task.
"This memorandum encourages us to provide even more assistance to our guys returning from the front with amputations. To provide them with quality prosthetics, proper service, and pastoral care.
Society should get used to the military and civilians with amputations. They are fully capable, deserving, and respected members of our society," he said.
